Xander is HUGE! At two months old, he is already wearing his 6 month outfits.
It's been the perfect weather. Brandon was great and tilled the garden the other week. I finally got around to planting, and haven't watered once! It rains at night, a little during the day, but mostly it's just sunny. What a blessing. Except we will move before we harvest anything.
Isabela is going to be a great big sister. She loves her little brother. Everyday she gives him more and more hugs and kisses. She even wakes him up sometimes to play if I am not paying attention. She is getting really good at putting multiple words together. She will usually pause between some, though. She says, "I love you, (pause) Anner." It's really cute how she pronounces Xander.
We are getting more and more excited to move. I can't believe how soon it will be here. I really haven't even started packing or anything. It will be interesting to see where we get to live.

Be-lated Mother's Day
Yesterday I taught the lesson in Relief Society. I didn't feel it went so great, but it's over now.
That was the bad part of my day.
When we got home from church, Brandon took a short nap, then watched the kids while I took a very long nap. He woke me up a couple hours later to feed Xander. Then, he brought be dinner in bed... steak! It was the greatest and I finally got some sleep. Needless to say, I felt like it was mother's day all over again. Thanks babe!

These days...
Our typical day consists of me nursing Xander more often than not throughout the day, Isabela saying "Xander no come." (Xander don't eat.) because she doesn't want me to feed him, she just wants to play with me. She begs to watch Diego all the time. Usually I only give in when Xander eats. I can't prevent her from terrorizing the house. Yes, I use Diego as a babysitter. What can I say, he's free of charge and Isabela loves him.
Today Isabela grabbed her baby doll and said "Come" (pronounced co-may) while lifting up her shirt and holding her baby to her chest.
Xander smiles all the time now. He coos a lot and just started to giggle. Today he had such an infectious laugh that I was laughing and crying.
My house is never clean... I don't even try anymore. My neighbor down the street says she sees a mess and it drives her crazy so she cleans a lot all day (she has four kids). I told her, I see a mess and it bothers me, so we go for a walk to the horses where I don't have to see it anymore. Unfortunately, it is still there and still bothers me when I get home.
I intend to post everyday, but if and when I get the chance, I begin to edit one picture, which turns into messing around with editing programs. I never get many pictures done, but it is fun to figure out new things on my own. Therefore, I don't actually get around to posting them to my blog.
Brandon just got a job offer in Colorado to teach Spanish. We will now be moving the end of July and are way excited for a new adventure
.
Isabela had a really fun birthday party with giant Winnie the Pooh day before Xander's blessing. We got to go swimming the first time this year, finally. Thanks to Grandma Becky. Maybe she can teach my kids to swim since I can't.
So I posted today because I didn't allow myself to look at pictures. They will come later.

Isabela and the camera
Isabela loves to take pictures with the camera. I delete most of them, although I love pictures of the ceiling, floor, garbage can, bright lights, noses, etc. But I saved just a few...
This one I dedicate to Renee!
And Dillan actually took this one while they were playing.
Yes, she is very infatuated with her dad!
And these are my feet, again, dedicated to Renee (so sorry, no accent on your name).

Isabela's Birthday!
Her party will come on Saturday, but for her birthday, I decided we would do some of her favorite things...
First, Isabela got to ride the city bus... her favorite thing.
But, then, so did Xander.
She got to ride in the little car...
She jumped on the trampoline...
and so did Xander.
Isabela went down the slide, and is fearless.
Everyday she asks to see the horses. She LOVES them...
and they loved Xander.
It takes several minutes everyday to get her to leave the grates over the water pipes. She will sit and watch the water all day if you let her.
and best of all... her favorite person/best friend came to visit!! She loves her Grampa and Chaga!
and Chaga loves Xander.
Happy Birthday Isabela!

Xander and Lincoln
Our little jailbirds. We couldn't have planned it better. Xander was just 6 weeks old when Lincoln was born. Here, Lincoln is about 3 days old. I can't believe how much bigger Xander has gotten. His head just looks huge. He sure has chunked out. He weighs over 12lbs now.
Then you see them when Lincoln is all stretched out and it doesn't look that much different. They just grow up so fast.

Xander Visits
Xander got to go to Colorado! We saw the whole family and beautiful Aunt Kimmy. Xander was in heaven!
It was great to be able to see Grandpa and Grandma again. It has been awhile. They were able to come up and see Xander just after he came home from the hospital. He was just a little fussy, but felt much better after he ate. :D
And Isabela even gave Grandpa and kiss and hug and said, "I love you."

And I bawled some more...
I took the memory card from my camera to upload pictures onto my blog. To my dismay, the card couldn't be read on my computer. I put it back into the camera. No luck. All of my pictures were GONE! I cried, and then I bawled.
I called Brandon, and bawled some more.
I called my dad, and bawled some more.
Then I called my brother, and bawled some more.
Dustin came and tried to retrieve the images from the card. As we drove to our ward party, Dustin called to say that after lots of tried and using various programs, he couldn't get any pictures off the camera. So as we reached the church parking lot, I let it all out... and bawled some more. I told Brandon, "If I am this upset over pictures of our children (including all of Xander's pictures at birth and first 2 weeks of life), can you imagine how upset I would be if something happened to one of our children, and not just a picture?" Not a happy thought.
After the ward party, we went to Dustin and Kala's to pick up the memory card. After showing me a few pictures he had taken at the hospital, he magically pulled up the pictures from my camera! I wanted to scream at him! But being so excited that he did get the pictures off, I again, bawled some more...
This one is my favorite! One week old.
Playing peek-a-boo at the end of my hospital bed.
Me and my little man!
The proud daddy!
