Chauncey and Grandpa bonding... they spent a lot of time together.
At one point I came into the bedroom to find Brandon and Xander taking a nap. They were both sprawled out on the bed in the exact same position. I ran downstairs to grab my camera. By the time I returned, they had both moved, but were in the same position as each other again. Seeing Brandon with the kids makes me so happy. He is such a great dad!
Brandon holding Xander's hand as he rocks in sunglasses on the way to church. (We couldn't find his church shoes, so he got to go comfy style in flip flops.)
This mist sprinkler was a huge hit the entire trip! It was so hot, and it was a lifesaver. Grandpa helped Chauncey enjoy the mist as well.
Watching my dad with my son makes me really happy.
This kid seriously has the best facial expressions. And the best laughs for that matter.
Talk about heat rash. Poor guy was so hot. It was over 100 degrees every day we were there.
Grandma giving Chauncey a bath in the kitchen sink.
Grandma & Grandpa Chantland meeting Chauncey. We love playing outside in their yard and swinging on the swings Grandpa made.
Four generations (just missing one generation, my mom)
Isn't this the cutest?
Camo-baby! He is such a content baby.
Finally getting to meet Grandpa Krebs. Chauncey is named after Grandpa Krebs' dad, Chauncey Edward Krebs, which would be his Great-great Grandpa.
Another, better banana picture. Xander was a little upset. "It boke. It boke." He was not too happy that it broke on him.
Bell was so excited to help Grandpa actually light the fireworks. She got to light the match and everything.
Priceless expressions as we watched firework after firework.
Isabela made a kite that she could fly by herself. Daddy always helps her fly her big kite, but she was very proud to be able to do this one on her own. It actually flapped around in the wind really well.
Grandma Krebs' birthday on the 4th of July. She also got to meet Chauncey. It was fun to see everyone in the family we don't get to see very often.
