I absolutely LOVE watching these two play together. (It also helps that they both love posing for pictures... most of the time.) If you get them to say "Whiskey," they get really big grins and smile for you! It's what they say in Chile instead of saying "Cheese" to take a picture.
Giddy-Up!
"My uul" (My azul - blue) Xander always says. He is fascinated by colors, and it's one thing he almost always says in Spanish, which makes me happy :D
Xander's favorite food... He was going really great "Thumbs Up!" with frambuesas on his thumbs.
Completely content to be scissor locked to the ground. I printed out some pictures a few weeks ago so the kids could have some to look at. This is one of many they decided to "re-create" once they saw it. Isabela said, "Xander, come lay down on me." She laid down, and he willingly obeyed, laying down right on top of her again, with a HUGE grin plastered all over his face just like before.
It never fails... they have my karma. I didn't like actually sleeping when my parents put me in bed when I was little. I walked in about 11PM one night, in the complete dark, to find barely audible giggles coming from these two hooligans as Xander brushed Isabela's hair with a barbie comb.
Only because we were taking pictures, Isabela decided she wanted to brush Xander's hair as well.
A different time, Xander was crying in his room, "Yuck! Yuck!" Again, it was late, and he was supposed to be in bed. Brandon was gone playing basketball really late, and I really didn't want to get off my butt to see what was wrong. But, of course, I did. As soon as I got out of bed, Xander comes hobbling out of his room with a ring on his "Stuck" on his ankle. Totally made my night. He got all frustrated as I laughed and got the camera before I helped him get it off.
Another tribute to Renee. I don't know how many pictures of our feet I saw growing up. Isabela takes after her as we have had hundreds of feet and toe pictures.
Our little man trying to "show off." I love him so much!
