Two nights ago, Xander refused to lie down to change his diaper before bed.  He kept saying “No! Other one!”  In my confusion, he finally pointed to his cloth diaper (which I have only ever tried on him 3 times… I don’t really want to wash out toddler pooh).  I padded it extra (I really didn’t want to wash sheets as well).  He couldn’t even put his legs together like normal.  I asked if he wanted to switch back.  But, nope, he LOVED it.

In the morning, he still didn’t want me to take it off.  Finally, we had to.  Then he did want his disposable back on again.

Today, though, he wanted his cloth one back on again.  I can’t believe my two-year old is cloth-diapering himself.  I am not opposed.  Maybe he will start to potty train sooner (Although, we have started already, with no pressure on him.  It has been slow-going, but I think he really enjoys sitting on the toilet so far, even though nothing has ever happened aside from reading stories.)
